This is one of the most popular and common shawl for Chakhesang Men.
The significance of the design is as follows:
The large red band: the bloodshed by our forefathers;
Black dashes on the red band: realization of the ‘khezhanuo khruo’. (tribute/tax).
Large black bands and narrow red bands: perpetual grappling with hardship;
White squares on black background: implements made of bones used by our forefathers;
Small green line: Victory;
Central design: old weapons-spear, shied, animal bones, sheath of dao/machete.
